Description Tupper Home:

Tupper Home Shop
The Tupperware House offers an architectural and financial solution to three public concerns about the residential development model.
Concern #1 -
The price of land and the level of design and technology specialization have emerged as independent variables that are not taken into account in devising development strategies for residential projects. Yet, we have witnessed the development of projects in which less of one variable is compensated with more of another.
Concern #2 -
Mortgages are the primary cause of labour-immobility and a prime determinant of the number of hours people dedicate to work. Given of the cost of land is the main component of houses prices, one would expect the release of building land by public authorities to lead to a fall in end prices. Instead, the price of housing depends on market demand and, as recent experience has shown, a fall in the price of land does not necessarily lead to a fall in end prices but, in the majority of cases, to an increase in the profit margin and the business volume of real estate agents.
Concern #3 -
72% of the jobs associated with construction do not require specialized manpower. The spectacular increase in low specialization construction activity has helped to create a social group with few skills and no hope of training opportunities in their professional context. Their reduced capacity to access information, to participate in public life and to make their voices heard is already a main source of inequality and conflict in many areas of the European Union.

The Tupperware-House System offers a three-way solutions:
At first, Tupperware-House system makes use of specialized technological solutions and standardized production processes. This has a direct impact on space usage, offering the same services in a house with 55% less floor area. The superior technological performance leads to a 52% reduction in the overall price of the house.
Secondly, it contains its own publicity mechanism. In this demostrative horizontal model, the users themselves promote the advantages of the system via a word-of-mouth campaign which has proven its efficiency in generating confidence in products aimed at the construction of a domestic reality. Existing users enroll their friends in the city transformation process and become their tutors, providing them with the necessary knowledge to participate in a design. Like in Tupperware commercial parties.
Thirdly, The Tupperware-House System seeks to contribute to the formation of a community of users who, because their lives are not governed by the need to pay off their home, enjoy greater social freedom and independence.
first prototype:
A two storeys apartment of 30 m2. The lower level contains a kitchen and a bathroom plus a multi-purpose space that stretches the entire four-meter height of the house. Upstairs, in compartments made of PLEXI cellular acrylic glass, are the study and two bedrooms. All the services, the electricity in PVC tubing and the new steel elements are exposed and painted in bright colours.
