Los diseñadores y ecologistas JOHN y CYNTHIA HARDY y su fundación MERANGGI, a cargo de las plantaciones de Bambú; y PT Bambu, una empresa de diseño y construcción que promueve el empleo de este vegetal como material de construcción primario; desarrollaron el proyecto The Green School en plena jungla, localizado en el valle del Río Ayung en Sibang Kaja, Balí, Indonesia.
