Description Pathway through the Jelení Príkop - Prague Castle:
The pathway through the Jelení Príkop forms part of a larger plan to
build an alternative access walkway from the Vltava river to the
grounds of the Prague castle. The objective of the project is to
facilitate pedestrian movement along the entire extension of the Jelení
Príkop, a unique natural monument. Thus, the Prague castle becomes
accessible via this nontraditional system of walkways that follows the
original Theresian gallery and connects existing walkways along the
Brusnice stream. The entire pathway is 84 m long, 78 of which
correspond to an underground tunnel.
