Description Hagen Island:
Hageneiland is part of a housing development in the Ypenburg suburb on the outskirts of The Hague. The project consists of four rows of plots with houses that are shuffled along each other. The utilisation of different materials and colours increases the diversity of the houses. Moreover, by modifying their placement, differences in character of the houses and the gardens are highlighted: houses with large front gardens, houses with gardens at the rear only, or houses with equal front and back gardens, all of which are separated by hedges.
