Description Carter / Tucker House:
The special fact of this house, located in Australia, is that it's
box-shaped form of 12,00x6,00 m, within which all the program of design
is developed. Its skin has been thought with parameters of Japanese and
Chinese architecture. In the Japanese traditional architecture, if
linked to the structure, the corridor (gejin) is not continuous, but a
fluid space within the buildings.
Is a glass box sheathed in panels of slender cedar battens, while his prototype FutureShack is a prefabricated emergency relief housing unit made of recycling shipping containers.
